Atelier Program: Draw and Paint Realistically
Do you want to learn to draw and paint realistically? Have you ever taken an art class and felt like you did not learn anything? Have you always wanted to draw and paint like the old masters but do it in your own way?
This program may be for you.
Students learn in the same program but receive individual instruction at their own level.
The program is broken into incremental parts. The first part is drawing. The second is grisaille (black, white and grey) oil painting. The 3rd is oil painting in color. The class is a studio class meaning the subjects in the class are old master copies, casts and still life.
Students who wish to augment their studio study with the live model are highly encouraged to do so as both are necessary.
The atelier program is open to new students, however beginners are encouraged to try basic drawing first.
