What is the course…

  • Saturday Morning 10am-1pm: Study portrait drawing and painting techniques
  • 1st year students draw in pencil
  • 2nd year students paint in oil paint grisaille (grey, black and white)
  • 3rd year students paint in oil color


This is a comprehensive drawing and painting program focusing on portrait fundamentals, accurate drawing, material handling and observation. 


Exercises and concepts build from simple to multilayered and more complex. Learn how to draw in pencil, paint in oil paint.
