Drawing Program intensivePencils: 1 each of 2B or HB 1 Each of 3B or 4B or 5B 1 Each of 4H, 5H or 6H Students can also use lead holding pencils in addition or replacing wood pencils ERASER: Kneaded Eraser Paper: A sketch book or 18 x 24 white drawing pad of paper, 30- 100 sheets pads such as Strathmore 400 Series Recycled Paper Pads (In the beginning we do many drawings and you will need paper you are not afraid of using) For finished work (don't buy right away), students will use: Canson Bristol paper, 96lb, 18x24”, color white (pencil drawers) These items we don't sell at school but are useful: *Drawing board recommended, ideally at least 20x24” (available at Michaels) *A portfolio large enough to handle drawing board and paper *Tortillon or drawing stump and or Q-tips *Sanding pad or 100 grit sandpaper *Some kind of small bag or small toolbox/ fishing tackle box to carry supplies in *Painters tape Less important at the start but useful later: Tracing paper 18x24” Spray fixative Small Level |
