Realistic Drawing for Children

Instructor: April Zay

This class is for serious students interested in learning the basics of realistic drawing. The class will begin with contour drawing, and eventually move to volume and shading. The focus of the class will be on composition and observation to  realistically capturing objects seen and experienced in everyday life. We will be working with a variety of drawing material, including but not limited to pencil, charcoal and pen and ink. 
Mondays, 7 weeks, June 23rd-August 11th

FUNDAMENTAL DRAWING SKILLS FOR YOUNG ARTISTS

Instructor: Diane Greenberg
Focus is on the ABC's of realistic drawing for the child who wishes to really learn to draw in a fun and focused environment. Old Master drawings and the lives of famous artist will be referenced. Through practice and observation your child will begin to learn the building blocks of art.
Monday 8 weeks, Feb 10th - March 21st
4-5:30 pm, 7-10 years old (Beginners)
Monday 8 weeks, Feb 10th- March 21st
5:45- 7:15, 10-13 years old (Advanced)
